my rc wheels move stalled why can this be???
Hello I have a nitro gas car 1:10. has 18CXP vertex engine. When I start the car the onset of wheel spin very fast, in neutral, I can not stop you applying the brake. I've checked the clutch shoes that are perfectly fine. I have reduced the speed by the idle adjustment screw so you never slowed by the wheels in motion, but the car started to hesitate and changes in noise as if the engine will shut down in me? What other needles I have to adjust in order to stop the wheel moving in neutral?
All Nitro RC cars when running a movement of the drive wheels, this is because everyone works in a centrifugal clutch. To stop the vehicle in motion When you start, you have to put the car on a platform so that all wheels are free of the ground and running. Once in place turn the idle screw until the engine sounds like it is almost stagnant, with then turn the screw about 1 to 2 turns counterclockwise. This should be about the optimum mix up the car. minor adjustments therefore only needed.
